APPLICATION

Participants qualify for the PODCOD program if:

• Have a positive mindset with a zest for learning and self-development, with strong determination to make it against all odds and eager to put in the hard work needed
• Are economically challenged with a Household Income under $45,000 per year (Based on a 2-person HH)
• Are 18 years of age or older
• Take required assessments tests
• Posses basic English language skills and committed to learn it to fluency through all available options (i.e. enroll in courses, seek out ways to practice conversational English, engage in reading and reporting on books, etc.)
• Available to enroll in various academic and training program needed in the desired field
• Are available to participate in the program for 3-6 months at 16-32 hours per week (For intern participants only)
• Have a willingness to give back to the PODCOD program and AyZar Outreach community once they’ve reached their initial career goals
