Where Philanthropy Empowers Dignity

Career Readiness Certification (CRC)

Building the skills that support your career path. The Career Readiness Certification is an 8–12 week program designed to help participants build essential workplace skills, confidence, and real-world experience to prepare for what comes next.

Why the Career Readiness Certification Exists

Many people enter the workforce without clear expectations, practical tools, or confidence navigating professional environments. At the same time, the workforce itself is rapidly changing as technology and artificial intelligence reshape industries, job roles, and the skills employers value most.
The Career Readiness Certification was created to bridge that gap — helping participants build foundational skills, understand workplace norms, and develop the confidence needed to pursue internships, job training, or meaningful employment. Through the support of Syndara, participants also gain access to innovative guidance, structured learning pathways, and forward-looking career
preparation designed to help them adapt to an evolving, AI-driven workforce.
This program is not about having everything figured out. It’s about building readiness, direction, adaptability, and momentum — while gaining the tools and support needed to move forward with confidence in a changing world.

What You’ll Do in the CRC

Orientation & Getting Started

Begin with an overview of the program structure, expectations, and how progress is measured.

Skills Assessment

Complete a pre-training assessment to establish a baseline, then retake it after training to measure growth.

Training Modules

Complete guided, self-paced learning over approximately 8–12 weeks, focused on building practical, transferable skills.

Capstone Project

Apply what you’ve learned in a project connected to your interests, goals, or field of exploration.

Applying Skills in a Real-World Way

The capstone project helps translate learning into experience. Participants use this project to demonstrate skill development, reflect on growth, and practice talking about their work. Which is an important step when preparing resumes, interviews, or conversations with employers.

The CRC is designed for participants who want to build confidence and practical workplace skills before moving into internships, job training, or employment.
It’s especially helpful for individuals who:

  • Are early in their career journey

  • Have limited professional experience

  • Want structured support while building transferable skills

You do not need to have a specific career fully defined to benefit from the CRC.

No. The CRC is designed to meet participants where they are.
Training starts with foundational concepts and builds gradually, with guidance and support throughout. The focus is on growth, effort, and application, not perfection or prior experience.

Progress is measured through:

  • A pre-training skills assessment to establish a baseline

  • Completion of guided training modules

  • A post-training assessment to measure growth

  • A capstone project that demonstrates applied learning

This structure helps participants see their progress clearly and build confidence in their development.

The CRC is designed to be guided but flexible.
While time commitment varies by participant, most people can balance the program alongside other responsibilities. The AyZar Outreach team works with participants to support pacing and accountability throughout the 8–12 week period.

After completing the CRC, participants receive support with:

  • Updating resumes and LinkedIn profiles

  • Preparing to talk about their skills and experience

  • Exploring next steps such as internships, partner opportunities, job training, or continued career development

The CRC is meant to be a launch point, not a standalone endpoint.
