AyZar Outreach (A.Y.O.) is hosting a summit to address the need, highlight the solutions, and devise a collaborative strategy to enhance social impact while meeting business needs.

The Summit brings together business owners, employers, educators, innovators, and AYO’s top pool of path seekers in a futuristic setting, featuring panel discussion by industry leaders, Path Seekers success stories, real-time networking via live matching, AI workshop,  and interactive media technology.

Meymuna Hussein-Cattan

Founder & CEO of The Tiyya & Flavors from Afar

Born in a refugee camp, Meymuna Hussein-Cattan has dedicated her career to expanding opportunity for refugees and immigrants. Through The Tiyya Foundation, she has helped thousands of families access education, workforce pathways, and community support. She also founded Flavors from Afar, a Michelin Bib Gourmand–recognized restaurant celebrating refugee chefs and cultures.

A Top 10 CNN Hero and L’Oréal Paris Woman of Worth, Meymuna’s work bridges entrepreneurship, community, and opportunity.

 


 

 Kamran Elahian

 Co-founder and Chairman of Innovera.ai

Kamran works closely with senior enterprise leaders to reimagine how organizations build, scale, and sustain innovation in the AI economy. He has co-founded ten technology companies with seven successful exits, including three Unicorn IPOs totaling over $8B in market value.

He spent 15 years as Chairman of Global Catalyst Partners, managing ~$350M in global investments across the U.S., Asia, and Israel, including a fourth Unicorn IPO valued at $6B, where he was a founding board member.

Beyond venture capital, his work focuses on expanding global access through technology—supporting initiatives like Schools-Online, the Global Catalyst Foundation, and serving as Co-Chairman of UN-GAID.


Nohemy Ornelas, Ed.D.

Vice Chancellor of Educational & Student Support Services

Dr. Nohemy Ornelas is Vice Chancellor of Educational and Student Services at the San Bernardino Community College District, where she oversees industry partnerships, workforce development, technology services, and student success initiatives.

With 27 years in public service, including 19 in higher education, she has led equity-driven strategies that expand college access and align district-wide planning through initiatives like Planning+: Integrated Planning. She also spearheaded SBCCD’s common application system, reducing barriers for students, and has secured millions in grant funding to support student services and regional workforce development.

A first-generation college graduate, Dr. Ornelas holds degrees from UC Santa Barbara, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and a doctorate in education from CSU Fresno. Her leadership has earned multiple honors, including the Latino Legacy Award and 40 Under 40 recognition.


Angel Sanchez, Jr.

CEO, Phenix Technology, Inc. | Founder, Phenix Gateway

Angel Sanchez, Jr. is the CEO of Phenix Technology, Inc., a Riverside-based manufacturer of American-made fire helmets, where he leads with a focus on Lean culture, inclusive workforce practices, and operational excellence. He is also the founder of Phenix Gateway, a nonprofit advancing inclusive workforce development and expanding pathways for individuals who face barriers to employment. Angel serves as Vice Chair of the Riverside County Workforce Development Board and was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to the California Workforce Development Board, giving him a strong voice in shaping workforce strategy at the county and state levels. He is also an executive team member with the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, where he focuses on economic development, workforce, and government affairs, while advocating regionally, statewide, and federally for stronger industry and talent alignment. A strong advocate for AI upskilling, advanced and additive manufacturing, and innovation tied to national defense and economic competitiveness, Angel brings a practical, people-centered perspective on preparing the workforce for the future.


Dr. Amir Zarkersh

CEO and Co-founder of PathLLM.ai.

Dr. Zarkesh is an AYO advisor and serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience across high-tech ventures spanning AI, low-power processors, and electronic design automation. He has co-founded and led companies including PathLLM.ai, Crunch, Innoveda, and Quad Design with earlier work acquired by Synopsys and Siemens. His background bridges deep technical expertise with business strategy, and his current work on agentic AI platforms puts him at the center of the workforce shifts we are gathering to address.
