Position Overview

You will support a small primary care medical practice that operates under a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, providing accessible and relationship-focused healthcare. You'll assist with patient interaction, medication handling, in-office testing, and routine administrative tasks, gaining exposure to family medicine in a relaxed, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

One-on-one mentorship from a family medicine physician • Hands-on experience in primary care procedures and testing (e.g., strep, flu, urinalysis) • Exposure to real-world patient interactions and care coordination • A relaxed, low-stress, family-oriented work environment • Flexible scheduling and earned autonomy in your role

Required & Preferred Skills

Phlebotomy and blood draw techniques • Vital signs measurement and patient intake • Experience handling prescriptions and medication dispensing • Knowledge of common primary care conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease) • Administrative and communication skills in a clinical setting
