You will support a small primary care medical practice that operates under a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, providing accessible and relationship-focused healthcare. You’ll assist with patient interaction, medication handling, in-office testing, and routine administrative tasks, gaining exposure to family medicine in a relaxed, patient-centered environment.
Phlebotomy and blood draw techniques
Vital signs measurement and patient intake
Experience handling prescriptions and medication dispensing
Knowledge of common primary care conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease)
Administrative and communication skills in a clinical setting
One-on-one mentorship from a family medicine physician
Hands-on experience in primary care procedures and testing (e.g., strep, flu, urinalysis)
Exposure to real-world patient interactions and care coordination
