Submission Prompt

NARRATOR:So here we are, standing in a doorway. People who love their work…
and also feel the ground shifting underneath them.

You can hear it in small, honest conversations:

[CROWD VOICES — silhouettes on dark screen, murmurs overlapping.]

“What happens when the machine can do what I do?”

“I don’t want to be replaced.”

“I don’t know what’s real anymore.”

“It’s not AI I fear — it’s what people might do with it.”

“What happens to art… to meaning?”

“What if we stop thinking for ourselves?”

NARRATOR:These aren’t weird fears. They’re human fears. Old fears wearing new clothes.

Because deep down, the biggest fear is usually the same:
“Will I still have a place in the world?”

[ON SCREEN — stat pulse, like a heartbeat.]
“71% of Americans fear AI will permanently displace workers.”

NARRATOR:That fear is widespread. Seventy-one percent of Americans feel it right now.
Not a small group … a majority.

And it isn’t the only fear.

[ON SCREEN — second stat.]
“77% fear AI will spread misinformation and deepfakes.”

NARRATOR:Seventy-seven percent worry about losing truth, a world where you can’t trust what you see.

And beneath those big fears are quieter ones people carry in their chest:
fear of loneliness,
fear of exploitation,
fear of losing control,
fear of creativity being taken without permission,
fear that this age could cost the earth as it grows.

[VISUAL — quick symbols for each: empty room, scam text, surveillance cams, artists’ hands, server farms.]

NARRATOR (Gentle):And here’s what history reminds us:
we’ve stood in doorways like this before.
